Happy December, Academy Families!
A quick reminder: all of our schools will be closed Tuesday, 12/23/25 through Thursday, 1/1/26 for Winter Break. We will reopen on Friday, 1/2/26. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing you in 2026!
We had so much fun at the first-ever Town of Irmo Christmas Parade and can’t wait to participate again next year! Rumor has it that next year will be a Night Parade. Thank you to all the families who came out to walk in the parade and to those who sent photos!
The Academy Carolers were spreading holiday cheer at the Rosewood Tree Lighting earlier this month! Our students did an AMAZING job—bravo!
The 2026 Winter Recital schedules have been sent to all registered performers. Check your inbox for the email sent to the address you provided at registration. If you need help finding your schedule, you can also contact the front desk. For any questions, our recital coordinator is happy to assist at recitals@columbiaartsacademy.com. We can’t wait to see all of our talented students perform soon!
With the holiday season upon us, we wish all of our students, families, and friends safe travels, happy memories, and a joyful holiday season filled with music and laughter!

Musical Ladder System® Achievements!
The Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music, and Irmo Music Academy are the only Midlands music schools where students earn colorful wristbands, trophies, and certificates through the patented Musical Ladder System®, created by Academy Director Marty Fort and used nationwide. Some schools offer trophies and certificates, but none excite students like the Musical Ladder System® wristbands they proudly show off to friends.
CAA students Max & Khaile earned Apprentice wristbands for 3 Months!

IMA student Jackson earned their Allegro wristband for 15 Months!
