Join us for our Kids Music Day & Back to School Bash! Get ready for Back to School at the Irmo Music Academy and learn more about our music lessons. This is open for all prospective students for all of our schools, and will be held at the Irmo Music Academy, Try free lessons, make a musical craft, enter our raffle, and complete the musical scavenger hunt to win a prize! The event will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Irmo Music Academy, located at 1061 Lake Murray Blvd, Irmo, SC 29063. We look forward to seeing you there!

Reminder: We will be closed for Labor Day on September 2nd, 2024. There are no makeups for the Labor Day holiday closing as tuition is based upon a 48-week year. During the months that you have 5 lessons, we do not charge you more. During the months that you have 3 lessons, we do not charge you less. If you have any questions, please refer to the Policies and Procedures!
Recital Signups for our 2025 Winter Recitals will begin on October 1st! Recitals will be held at the W. W. Hootie Johnson Performance Hall in the Darla Moore School of Business, and the dates are still being finalized. To make it easier for you, we have created an entire recital page that will hold the sign-up form, dates, and other general information including parking information and maps. Our first Fall Ball was such a great hit, we're doing it again! There will be games, crafts, a food truck, and of course live music from our students! The event will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Koger Center of the Arts, located at 1051 Greene St, Columbia, SC 29205. We hope to see you there!

Musical Ladder System® Achievements!
The Columbia Arts Academy, Lexington School of Music & Irmo Music Academy are the only music schools in the Midlands that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for passing musical tests with the Musical Ladder System®. It was actually created by academy Director Marty Fort. It has been awarded multiple patents and is being used by schools nationwide.
Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool "Musical Ladder System®" wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

Is Your Teacher Sold Out?
Many teachers have sold out. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact any of our office staff team and they can add you to the waiting list. If you are not a student yet there are still limited lessons spots available.
